This month it was the turn of D2 to take on the likes of Uni 2 and today we won by 13-6 which was a fantastic result on our part. There was a number of great penalty shots by some of our players including Chris Heron and Alex Lea. Peter Mulley and Chris also both scored four goals a piece so well done guys!
D2 worked hard for their victory today and they will back at St Gregs next Sunday to take on Abingdon 3 at 7.15pm. D1 will be playing Isis 3 in the previous match at 6pm.
Well done to everyone who played in this weekend’s match which saw Dragons 1 take on Uni 2. Triumphing with a score of 5-2 , the Dragons played a hard and well-deserved game with goals scored by a variety of team members.
Next up we will be playing our second team against Bucks Royals Sunday 6th November.
On another note the Didcot Dragons would like to wish all our fans and supporters a very Happy Halloween!!

The new korfball season is upon us and on Sunday 2nd October 2016 Didcot Dragons 1 and Didcot Dragons 2 took to the court once again in a head-to-head battle to mark the beginning of the season. With the first team opposing the second team, the match was inevitably going to be a Didcot wipe-out, but which team were to triumph was anyone’s guess?!
With Dragons 2 with one player down, Dragons 1 stormed ahead in the end in a knock out victory of 26-6. Fantastic goals were scored by many players and both teams pulled together and played tremendously in a force of fiery wills to do their best for their teammates. Well done to all who played to such a high standard on Sunday and thank you to all supporters who came to cheer us on from the sidelines. Here’s to another fantastic korfball season 2016/2017! Go DRAGONS!

A BIG thank you to our co-chairs Gemma Wilson and Laura Hathaway-Jenkins for organising it all and to everyone else who lent a hand on the day as they all did a marvellous job.
